Our host spins the cream of the crop of the Hermits’ recorded legacy: an album spotlight on their 1967 masterwork BLAZE (in MONO no less); a peek at their unissued covers album from ’68 (anyone for the Hermits’ rockin’ spin on “Rock And Roll Woman” – we kid you not); plus loads or rare and unusually wonderful tracks.

Highlights include a January 1967 trip to the recording studio explaining how the band made their records; all the Clarke/Hicks/Nash written tracks from the Everly Brothers “Two Yanks In England” album in mono (it has only been on CD previously in stereo); tracks from Hollies protege’s such as the Societe and the Mirage; Covers from Keith, Episode Six, Dana Gillespie and the Piccadilly Line; even the rarest of the rare – a Hollies rip off track by the Klan called “Fifi The Fly” (stolen lock stock and barrel from the Hollies’ “Fifi The Flea”).
